Job Duties:

• Follow instruction from Crew Supervisor

• Work in a maintenance crew of 2-4 employees

• Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM of all required tools and equipment

• Spread top soil, lay sod, mulch, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of landscape and related structures

• Rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by crew supervisor

• Operate and maintain power equipment including, but not limited to: line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, power edger, pruning saws

• Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments;

• Assist in other job-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance;

• Complete and submit required paperwork on a daily basis (daily time sheets)

• Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for a return visit

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas

• Ensure that work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and in compliance with government and company PPE standards

• Comply with all company policies and regulations

• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

• Follow proper uniform policy

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

 

Job Requirements:

• Landscape maintenance experience not necessary as training will be provided

• Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Some knowledge of materials, methods, tools and equipment of landscape maintenance

• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time

 

Conditions:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift minimum 50lbs repeatedly throughout the entire work day

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment

• Requires excellent stamina

• Required to work close to heavy equipment on a regular basis

• Required to work outdoors in the sun, heat, humidity, and rain

 

Rate of Pay:

$20 - $22/hr (Dependant on experience and qualifications)
Pay raises yearly based on performance

End of year bonus based on performance

Health benefits after 3 months of employment
